Ooooh
It looks like Brockhampton are working with Rick Rubin
The band recently announced they’ve signed to RCA Records.
Last week, Brockhampton announced they had signed with RCA for their upcoming fourth studio album, the follow-up to the ‘Saturation’ trilogy from last year.
The record in question looks like it’s set to be called ‘Puppy’, and will come out this summer. The band have also been teasing a new record called ‘Team Effort’.
Now, the band’s ringleader Kevin Abstract has shared a new photo on Instagram of he and bandmates JOBA and Romil with the infamous Rick Rubin, along with the caption “puppy”. Looks, then, like the legendary producer could be lending a hand to the new LP.
Abstract recently also revealed that the ‘Saturation’ trilogy was in part inspired by Rubin himself, tweeting: “Clancy introduced me to Rick right before I released american boyfriend… I was struggling with making the follow up to AMBF so I went and spoke with him, seeking guidance.. One of our conversations inspired me to release three albums in one year (Sat trilogy)”.
So then, it’s been a busy week-or-so for Brockhampton, and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
The band tour Europe this summer, playing two sold-out dates at London’s KOKO in August, in advance of their slots at Reading & Leeds.
